Chris Elford

B.Ed. (Secondary), University of Victoria, 1975; M.Div. (Bible and Theology), Canadian Theological Seminary, 1985; M.Ed. (Curriculum & Instruction), University of Regina, 1986; Ph.D. (Educational Administration), University of Alberta, 1996. Public High School teacher - Invermere, BC, 1975-82; Christian School teacher, principal & director, Westpark School and Director of Education, Portage Alliance Church - Portage la Prairie, MB, 1986-1991, 1996-2003; Prairie Bible College Associate Dean Academics & Director of Institutional Research - Three Hills, AB, 1991-96; RMC Vice President Academic, 2004-present.

Chis and his wife, Kim, have been married for 38 years and have three adult children (in Calgary and Edmonton) and 2 fabulous grandchildren.

Chris enjoys messing around with computers and other tech gadgets as well as keeping fit by running, hiking and walking. Since moving to Calgary in 2004 and being within reach (sight) of the mountains again, Chris and Kim set a goal to get into the mountains at least once a month. So far, they have only missed achieving that goal just 3 times in over 160 months.

 

We want to share with you our excitement for a new way of learning at Rocky Mountain College.

Pathways is our new “distributed learning” model. It is taking our classroom courses out of the box, and down the road to where you are.

With our focus on discipleship, leadership and social care, Pathways now enables students, professionals, and life-long learners, to take advantage of our programs and courses no matter where they are.

Courses are available to Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime. Often times God speaks to us and we yearn for a richer life. But obstacles appear.

Pathways is about removing obstacles and allowing access to quality learning experiences. We foster changed lives both locally and globally.

It is our hope that we can show you a new pathway to learning, ministry and a richer, more meaningful life. Thank you for exploring RMC’s Pathways program.
